Welcome

Opening Address

Dear colleagues and friends,

We are pleased to welcome you to the 25th International Conference Social Processes and Personality, which returns after four years to the SAS Academia Congress Centre in Stará Lesná. A quarter-century of the conference's existence – since its first edition in Brno in 1998 – is an occasion to recall its mission: to be an open space for the Czech and Slovak psychological community to engage in dialogue across generations and disciplines.

This anniversary edition brings several novelties. Thanks to our collaboration with the Slovak Reproducibility Network, we can for the first time offer pre-conference workshops focused on methodology and statistics, as well as an award for the most transparent student contribution. Since the essence of SPP lies in connecting researchers, we have also prepared a social evening – this year enriched by a magician's performance.

We look forward to your contributions, discussions, and the days we will spend together beneath the Tatras.

Types of Contributions

Oral presentations
Each oral presentation is allotted 20 minutes, including a 5-minute discussion. A laptop with a data projector will be provided. If you require alternative presentation equipment, please contact the organisers.

Symposium
A symposium is understood as a set of presentations on a specific topic within the scope of the conference. The symposium is registered by the symposium chair by sending the title of the symposium and a list of all presentations included in it to spao2026@saske.sk. Individual contributions within the symposium are submitted separately by each participant via the registration form. The submission requirements are a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 6 contributions related to the symposium topic, presented by different authors (no two contributions within a symposium may share the same presenting author; other co-authors may overlap).

Poster
The poster session will take place as part of the conference programme. Panels measuring 90 × 120 cm will be available for presentation. Presenting authors are required to be present at their posters during the session and to respond to any questions. The poster session will be preceded by a poster teaser session, in which each author will have 45 seconds and a single slide to briefly introduce the main message of their poster and invite participants to visit it.
